Dev is an Indian cinematographer based in Mumbai. He is best known for his films like Citylights which was an official remake of BAFTA nominated film "Metro Manila". He is known for his stark images, capturing the energy of the characters with an unforced realism. His short films Lengha & Moved by Love were screened at Cannes court metrage. He was nominated for his work in the International feature film Invasion 1897 at BON awards for best cinematography. He shot advertising campaign "Shut The Phone Up 3" for Manforce Condoms won two golds at Foxglove advertising awards.

Three-year Post-graduate diploma in cinematography from Film & Television Institute of India, Pune.

 

B.A in Mass communication & Film Studies from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

 

One-year diploma in photography from Society of photographers, Kolkata.
